Smooth rolled titanium zinc in sheets, coils and strips
NedZink NATUREL is a durable, aesthetic and maintenance-free building material that becomes increasingly attractive over the years under the influence of the weather conditions. A natural zinc patina layer forms on the surface. This property means NedZink NATUREL is mainly used where a natural and lively appearance, high cost-effectiveness and a long life are required.
Natural titanium zinc in sheets, coils and strips
NedZink NATUREL is titanium zinc produced by NedZink according to EN 988.
It is used among others for roof and façade cladding, roof gutters and rainwater drainage systems.
Small quantities of the alloy elements copper, titanium and aluminium are added to electrolytically refined zinc (with a purity of min. 99,995% Zn, Z1 according to EN 1179) based on EN 988. The chemical composition, mechanical and physical properties and measurement tolerances are determined in the KOMO product certificate and the product certificate from Lloyd’s Register, LRIQS (Approval QIS122).
The defined material properties are checked by an independent and neutral research institute. This product certification and the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for the quality management system at NedZink assure a constant and uniform high quality standard, far exceeding EN 988.
Transport and storage
NedZink products are packed and sent dry. The advice is to store titanium zinc dry and in a constant as possible temperature. This reduces the probability of condensation formation.
NedZink NATUREL has a smooth rolled surface. After assembly, a practically insoluble zinc patina layer originates after a certain time due to the influences of weather conditions. Over this time it is inevitable that the surface will take on an irregular appearance. When from the start, a natural grey or an anthracite black colour is required, we recommend the use of NedZink NOVA or NedZink NOIR. These are two different shades of pre-weathered titanium zinc from NedZink.
Mechanical deformation of zinc below 7°C material temperature is not allowed.
