The arched roof on top of a block of flats in Bottrop (North Rhine-Westphalia) proves that the combination of modern architecture and ingenious building materials makes it possible to realize something out of the ordinary. The architect of these four residences under one single roof gave this object a special top accent in the form of half a ton. The material choice of Nedzink NOVA served as extra dimension for this arched roof construction.
The titanium grey silky gloss of the arched roof gives the building a high-quality character. The distinguished sight is completed by the windows and dormers, which are incorporated in the construction. These have been integrated easily in the zinc segments. Even the rainwater drainage system has been entirely executed in NedZink Nova. The application of special techniques guarantees that the used NedZink NOVA can normally extend and shrink due to temperature changes without having any perceptible effect on the taut bended arched roof.
